ORGANIC VINEYARD IN THE MINERVOIS
~ ROUBIA ~
ABOUT US
The Puy vineyard extends over seventeen hectares of organic vines on both sides of the Canal du Midi. Created by a family of winegrowers, the estate was started by Michel, the grandfather, expanded by Henri, the father, and is now in the hands of Emmanuel and Leanne, who came all the way from the north-east of England...
To the south-east (at Le Marin) of the village of Roubia, six hectares are dedicated to the “Cépages” range of wines, made from Viognier and Chardonnay for the white wines, and Syrah for the red wines.
To the north-west (at Le Cers), there are eleven hectares within the Appellation d’Origine Protégée – AOP of Minervois. These vines are planted with Carignan, Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for the red grape varieties, and Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Vermentino, and Viognier for the white grape varieties. A plot of Grenache Gris completes the area for our rosé or white wine blends.

ORGANIC WINES
AOP MINERVOIS
All our cuvées are organic, made from AOP Minervois grape varieties and are produced in our family run winery.

THE VINEYARD
Our vineyard is made up of three areas:

"Les Matelles" northwest of Roubia
"Les Rochers" to the south.
"Sous la Pont" to the south-east

LES MATELLES
Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre are the red grape varieties in the Matelles which is an area of twelve hectares, ten of which are classified as AOC Minervois and offer us exceptional red wines.
Grenache blanc and Marsanne will give our white wines the authenticity of a unique terroir.
2021 saw the planting of two plots of Chardonnay with high quality potential....

SOUS LE PONT
Three and a half hectares, planted with Chardonnay, Viognier and Syrah, sold by the vine, make up this IGP Oc plot on the edge of the Canal du Midi

LES ROCHERS
Small plot of three hectares on which Syrah, Vermentino and Viognier coexist,
"Les Rochers" is an atypical clay micro-terroir
